Well, here’s some pics from our motorcycle trip to Niagara Falls including a minor mishap on The Tail of the Dragon on May 1.

Doug and Morten drove to Jacksonville on April 29 and we left at 6:30 AM on April 30. We drove to Atlanta to Ron and Susan’s. On Thursday, May 1, Susan joined us on her Yamaha R1 through the Cherohala Skyway and then on to Deal’s Gap and The Tail of the Dragon, an 11 mile, 318 turn roadway. It was there that I had my mishap trying to keep up with Susan and video her. After a 2-day set back and 23 stitches Doug, Morten and I continued north along the Blue Ridge Parkway. We got to Niagara Falls on May 5 along with the group that took the Auto Train. Seeing Niagara Falls ‘up close and personal’ is spectacular. If you’ve never been to the falls, you need to make plans to see it one of these days.

Doug and I left Niagara Falls on Wed., May 7 and headed south through PA, OH, W.VA, KY, TN, NC and GA before returning to FL.

We were blessed with good weather for all but about three days. The temperatures ranged from the 80’s in FL to 45 in Buffalo.
