Members,

Join us for the first ride of the New Year with our annual pilgrimage to Key West.  First thing to note is that the ride will start on January 2nd,  NOT New Years day.  This was by popular request to allow recovery from the previous evening’s festivities!  In addition, there are now three options for the ride:

1. The main ride will be leaving on Saturday morning from the Griffin Road Shell station at 7:30.  We will stop in Florida City for those of you that want to join us further south.  We will be staying the night in Key West so if you are interested in this option, please make your own arrangements for Hotels or other accommodation.  We will return the following day leaving after breakfast.
2. The second option will be to ride down and back on Saturday.  If there is interest in this, please email me so that I can arrange for a ride leader and tail for the return portion.
3. Ride down to Key Largo on Sunday and meet up with the returning riders from Saturday at a pre-determined lunch stop.  I may be doing this so, once again, email me directly to let me know.
   

The two day ride will be led by Adrian Goldfarb and Mike Engestrom.  They will each have family members driving down in cars for ride support if necessary.  I am sending the preliminary ride agenda which gives more details on times/stops.  If you have any questions, please email Adrian at goldfara@me.com.

Day 1

7:30                     Depart from Griffin Road

9:00 – 9:30         Breakfast stop/optional meeting place for folks from further south. (Florida City?)

11:00 – 11:30     Break, Gas, Coffee, (Marathon)

13:00  - 15:30     Key West  - Lunch plus check-in as appropriate

15:30                   One day return group leaves

Dinner TBD

Day 2

9:00        Meet for Breakfast

10:00       Departure for Gilbert’s Resort, Key Largo

12:30       Meet with Sunday riders for Lunch stop

         14:30         Depart Key Largo for points North.

          15:30         Stop at Florida City (Robert is here depending on time)
