For those of you who pre-ordered our new club patches, I just spoke with the company. I should have them by Friday. Sorry it has taken so long, when we received the proofs, there were always small corrections that needed to be made which delayed the process.

For those who might still want a patch but did not order one, I have a limited number available. Cost is $27.50.

Now here is the question of the day: Does anyone know where we can get these patches sewed onto our leather vests/jackets at? It takes a special sewing machine. I know you can wait until the Toy Run is here and take it there, but realistically, who wants to wait that long? If you know of a place, please pass the word.

The Coast 2 Coast Ride leaves this Friday, October 10th-12th, if you are interested, let me know.

The Fall Leaf Tour Ride to North Georgia and Western N.C. leaves Sunday, October 19th and returns anywhere from Friday, Oct 24 to Monday, Oct 27th.

Here is an option for you. The Fall Leaf Tour leaves at 7:00am sharp from the Cracker Barrel Restaurant, 1960 N W 150th Ave. Pembroke Pines, FL 33028-2804 (954) 704-4020. If anyone would like to meet us for breakfast at 6:00am and ride up to Daytona, you are more then welcome. We will be stopping at the Dixie Crossroads Restaurant for lunch on the way up. http://www.dixiecrossroads.com You could either stop for lunch or continue on to Daytona.Â

I would like to schedule a club ride on either Saturday or Sunday, November 1st or 2nd. I have to work both days, so I need someone to step-up to lead a ride. Here is your chance to help direct the club. Leading a ride is fun, you get to chose where the club goes.

South Florida Riding season is rapidly approaching. When you hear of an event that would be fun to attend, please drop me an email.

Now for some not so good news: I am having shoulder surgery on December 11th. Basically that means I will not be riding for at least 8-12 weeks. Now is the time for our membership to step up and lead the club. Rides in December and January are in your court. Please email me to let me know which ride you plan on leading and where too.
